Our Team

Jeff hails from “Almost Heaven” West Virginia and moved to Denver in 1988. He and his wife Bea have been together since 1996, and they have 2 beautiful daughter’s Kendahl and Kylie and two ornery Mountain Cocker Spaniels. The whole family enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and snowshoeing.

Before their daughter’s were born, Jeff and his wife worked as volunteers for Jefferson County Open Space Parks and Douglas County Search & Rescue. They are still actively involved in the community volunteering for the school system and Rotary International.

Sandra Abeyta started in the Insurance business right out of college. She recently started working in the Independent world for MountainStorm Insurance Company. She loves this type of work since she now has many different options for her customers and has the ability to “shop” around for the best rate or coverage. She loves Property and Casualty Insurance but has really taken an interest in Commercial Insurance! She can also do Bonds or other different types of insurance. Just give her a call to discuss!

Sandra loves to travel, read, play volleyball, softball or anything outdoors. She is a native of Colorado originally from the San Luis Valley. Sandra is a member of Colorado Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (CAHREP), Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB), South Metro Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Association of Professional Women (APW) and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Ed was born to immigrant parents in Chicago. From a young age he was taught that hard work and helping others was the path to success. He has owned and operated several successful businesses through the years. He has also been a member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Ed moved to the Denver area in 2005. His wife, Carol, is an accountant with a firm in the Denver area. They have 2 children, Lisa (20) and Matt (17) who are still in school and soon to be on their own. Ed’s strong commitment to helping others is a natural fit for the insurance profession.

In Ed’s spare time he loves to play golf, fish, and ride his motorcycle.

Deni was born and raised in California and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she achieved a BS in Graphics Communication. Prior to joining MountainStorm Insurance she owned and managed several businesses. Along the way she discovered a love and talent for helping people and businesses connect with each other. Fabulous customer service and attention to detail have helped her master each new chapter in her life.

Deni’s creative side is fulfilled by creating art quilts, painting, and do-it-yourself home projects. She bikes and skis when she can and loves to travel. She has travelled extensively across America and Europe. Her most recent trip was to Scotland and Ireland. She has two grown sons whom she is proud to save have become very good men.
